“Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.” ― C.S. Lewis

It is the trueness of art that makes it beautiful and original.  It is easy to make an ugly drawing to create something beautiful takes time – the time to study, to know, to ultimately draw or paint it. Being true to subject not only reflects its outward appearance, but also the inner truth.

“and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”  John 8:32

Today seek to bring out truth and beauty in whatever you create.
